Rabbitex Megafarms Limited ("Rabbitex", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through our website, customer app and delivery app, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal data in line with the Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019 (Uganda).
1. Information we collect
- Account details — name, phone number, email address and password when you register.
- Order & delivery details — delivery addresses, order history, and notes you add to orders.
- Location data — when you allow it, your device location is used to set delivery addresses and let riders find you.
- Payment information — payments are processed by third-party payment providers; we do not store your card or mobile-money PINs. We keep records of amounts paid and payment status.
- Device data — device identifiers and push-notification tokens so we can send order updates.
- Support communication — messages you send us by phone, email or in-app chat.
2. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and process your orders.
- To deliver products to you, including sharing your name, address and phone number with the assigned delivery rider.
- To send order status notifications and, with your consent, offers and updates.
- To improve our products, services and app experience.
- To prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.
3. Sharing
We share personal data only with: delivery personnel fulfilling your order; payment processors handling your payment; service providers who host and support our systems; and authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Retention & security
We keep your data only as long as needed for orders, legal and accounting purposes. Data is stored on secured systems with access limited to authorised staff.
5. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw marketing consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. You may also delete your account from within the app settings.

Our services are intended for persons aged 18 and above.

Account and data deletion
Customers and approved delivery partners can permanently delete their account inside the relevant Rabbitex app. You can also submit an account deletion request through our account deletion page. We verify account ownership before processing a website request.
Deletion removes or anonymises profile and personal account data. Rabbitex may retain limited transaction, tax, fraud-prevention or dispute records when Ugandan law or a legitimate legal obligation requires it, and deletes those records after the applicable retention period.
