Demand for rabbit meat in Uganda is estimated at about one tonne per day, yet roughly 98% of rabbit farmers operate at a scale too small to supply buyers consistently. Rabbitex closes that gap.
We train farmers in feeding, housing, hygiene and disease management, support access to quality breeds, aggregate supply and prepare products through controlled handling and chilled delivery.

Our journey
Secured supply agreements with Carrefour at two branches and Bendito Mixed Farm Ltd.
Expanded Carrefour supply to six branches, grew to five staff and launched the RSSG programme.
Added rabbit-pellet manufacturing, opened the Nansana outlet and trained 30 outgrower farmers.
Reached eight staff and trained another 33 farmers, growing the outgrower network to 63.
